Booking your ticket

If you require an all-line ticket (Pickering to Whitby), please see our Day Rover Donation & Standard tickets.

Short Journeys Select your date of travel from the calendar and your outbound journey time from the list of available services. You do not need to select a return journey.

During the Yellow Timetable, trains will only operate between Pickering, Levisham (including Newtondale Halt) and Goathland. During the Red/Blue/Pink Timetables, trains will operate between Pickering, Levisham (including Newtondale Halt), Goathland, Grosmont and Whitby.
A One Stop Ticket is valid for travel between two adjacent stations. For example, Pickering to Levisham or Levisham to Goathland.
A Two Stop Ticket is valid for travel across two sections of the line. For example, Pickering to Goathland or Goathland to Pickering.

A £1.50 booking fee applies to each booking made.

Wheelchair users

To book a wheelchair space in our Fuss-Free Access carriage, please contact our Customer Services Team at least 10 days before your planned journey.

You do not need to purchase a ticket online.
