PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NUMEROUS TRAFFIC WORKS TAKING PLACE AROUND PAINSHILL ON THE M25 AND A3. PLEASE CONSIDER ALLOWING EXTRA TIME FOR YOUR JOURNEY TO PAINSHILL

Arrival time slots are currently being used to manage visitor flow at the visitor centre. You are able to enter Painshill at any time within the time slot purchased. There is no time restriction to how long you can remain in Painshill whilst Painshill is open.

A £1 booking fee applies to each transaction and will automatically be added to your basket.

Our free car park is first come, first served. If you can, please consider car sharing, using public transport or travelling on foot/by bike.

The Crystal Grotto is closed on Mondays for maintenance except on Bank Holiday Mondays. Please note the Grotto will be closed for an event on the 14th February. Please see our events page for details..

Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
