Arrival time slots are currently being used to manage visitor flow at the visitor centre. You are able to enter Painshill at any time within the time slot purchased. There is no time restriction to how long you can remain in Painshill whilst Painshill is open.

Please note that a £0.50 booking fee applies to each transaction and will automatically be added to your basket.

Please note - our free car park is first come, first served. If you can, please consider car sharing, using public transport or travelling on foot/by bike.

Last entry is strictly 3pm. Painshill landscape and car park closes at 4pm.

From the 18th Nov - 7th January the Crystal Grotto will be open every day 10.30am - 3.30pm.

We will not be accepting Gardeners World 2-4-1 tickets from Saturday 18th November - Sunday 7th January due to the Alice in Wonderland Trail.

Things to See & Do

Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
