If you're staying in the area this summer, our great value Explorer Tickets are the perfect way to discover the Weald & Rother Valley - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explorer Tickets are valid for unlimited travel along the whole line on any 2 days within a 7 day period, providing you with the flexibility to come & go as you wish.
Please be aware that this ticket isn't valid for travel on premium event days, such as 1940s & Steampunk
The historic town of Tenterden, known as the 'Jewel of the Weald' and just a short walk from the station, is a fascinating place to explore. Georgian buildings share the streets with tall Victorian houses and tiny cottages creating a timeless air. There's a wealth of history, architecture and excellent shopping to keep everyone entertained. Visit the popular market on Friday morning or stroll the tree-lined High Street - the perfect place to shop at a relaxed pace, browsing in the wide range of shops, from the unique and usual to the familiar and well known. Beautiful gifts, crafts, books and antiques… Tenterden is the place where you are bound to find something special.
Just a short walk form Bodiam Station lies the Medieval castle, now in the care of the National Trust - if you're not a National Trust member, show your K&ESR ticket for a discount on entry to the castle & grounds. It's a great place to explore and there are a good range of refreshment options locally - at the station, the NT Tea Room, the Castle Pub opposite, or The Hub!

Explorer Tickets are superb value and give you the freedom to come and go as you please. Simply select the first day of your 7 day validity period in the calendar below, then add the ticket types you need - if you're a larger family, you can buy multiple Explorer tickets or add additional children.
Explorer Tickets are valid for the named lead individual (ID is required) plus their family members and are not transferable.

What is Gift Aid?

If you would you like us to treat your admission as a donation to our funds, this will entitle you to use your ticket as a free annual site ticket. If you are a UK tax payer you can boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate. Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year, providing vital extra funds that help us in our important heritage work
