Are you a UK tax payer? If so, every £1 you give could be worth £1.25 to us, helping us to keep Exeter Cathedral open for generations to come. Running the Cathedral costs £6,000 per day. The Cathedral receives no regular funding from the Government or the Church of England to contribute to these costs, so any donation you are able to make would be gratefully received. Gift Aid is a form of tax relief and, as a charity, we are able to claim back the tax on your admission/donation as we can class your admission as a “charitable donation”. If you choose to Gift Aid your admission ticket, as a thank you, you will get a 12 month annual pass for entry into the Cathedral (excludes the Treasures Exhibition).
Please treat my payment as a Gift Aid donation. I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (April 6 2025 to April 5 2026) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs will reclaim on my gifts for this tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give. I acknowledge that these Gift Aided tickets are for myself or members of my family.
Please do NOT treat my payment as a Gift Aid donation.
